Simorgh Talaei Abnoos, the company behind DevinJax, carries forward generations of sesame-making expertise by bringing traditional production together with modern knowledge, formulations, and lifestyles.
Historical roots
Sesame has a long history in Iranian food culture. The origin story of sesame halva reaches back to the Safavid era and Sheikh Bahaei, when a nourishing, durable, and portable food was reportedly devised and later spread across Iranian cities.
1951 — Factory production begins
In 1951, the late Mahmoud Vafakish Homaei refined the formula for sweet sesame halva and established its factory production. His expertise and dedication passed to the next generation and laid the groundwork for industrial-scale growth.
2010 — DevinJax takes shape
In 2010, after completing his studies in Germany, Alireza Vafakish Homaei further developed the production formulas, creating premium tahini and plain, pistachio, and cocoa sesame spreads as the core DevinJax range.
Today — Simorgh Talaei Abnoos
DevinJax products are now made at the Simorgh Talaei Abnoos factory in Chenaran Industrial Estate. The company focuses on premium ingredients, hygienic requirements, consistent quality, and responsible customer care.
The future — A lasting path
Building on past experience with a forward-looking mindset, DevinJax continues developing sesame products for changing tastes and lifestyles, guided by the belief that customer trust is the brand’s most valuable asset.
